KINGSTON SPRINGS FIRE & RESCUE

Education & Prevention

The Kingston Springs Fire Department is proud to provide instruction on fire prevention and education to the citizens of the community and the local schools. The department visits schools on an annual basis, to instruct children and adults on the importance of fire safety and prevention. The department was equipped with a Fire Safety Trailer in 2006, which serves as a "mock" residence/structure. The trailer is equipped with common household items, which are known fire hazards and some of the leading causes of fire. The trailer also has the capability of emitting smoke throughout the interior, which demonstrates the behavior of smoke within a structure. The trailer is provided to the citizens and schools on an annual basis, with instruction from department members.

The department purchases educational material as needed, to distribute to citizens and the schools within the community. The Kingston Springs Fire Department has several state certified instructors, who are happy to assist the citizens of the community as needed. If you would like more information, or to set up a demonstration, you can complete the form under the Contact Us tab or call the FireDepartment at (615) 952-2555.
