   John Ershek joined the Department in April of 2010. John has completed the 16 hour, 64 hour and "live burn" training(s) at the Tennessee Fire & Codes Academy. John has also obtained certifications for CPR, Hazmat Awareness and Hazmat Operations. He is currently working towards his First Responder and Firefighter 1 certifications.

John is an independent film maker, coaches disabled athletes and is currently writing a book. His hobbies include golf, tennis, hiking, camping, movies and travel.
