Get Alarmed!!

The Kingston Springs Volunteer Fire Department has teamed with the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office to supply free smoke alarms to be installed in homes within the community at high risk of fire. The department personnel attended an information session and training course on the new alarms, which utilize a battery with a 10-year lifespan.

The alarms are free, but must be installed by the fire department. Because supplies are limited, the fire department may need to give first preference to those who are not able to otherwise afford smoke alarms, however ANY home without smoke alarms is at high risk and can benefit from this program.
